2 syns per person
500g lean mince beef
2 tins of chopped tomato’s
2 large carrots
2 large onions
2 sticks celery
500ml of beef stock

small glass of red wine (4 syns)
100ml of skimmed milk (3 syns)
4 sprigs of fresh thyme
4 sprigs of rosemary
3 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of sweetener.


Finely chop and fry the onions, carrots and celery in fry light for 5 minutes. Then add the mince and fry until brown.
Add tinned tomato’s, beef stock, milk and wine and reduce heat to a simmer.
Add herbs, garlic, seasoning and sweetener. Leave to simmer on a low heat for 2 – 3 hours or until bolognese has reduced to your liking.

Serve with 75g of spaghetti.
